Application examples of compressed air in LCD production
Mobile phone displays, various touch control screens, and LCD TVs all use liquid crystal displays. Their production process also requires a large amount of clean compressed air. Compared to general compressed air applications, the requirements for compressed air are: 1. Low pressure dew point (-70~-100℃); 2. Small dew point fluctuation (2%-3%); 3. The system cannot contain copper.
To meet the above requirements, the following improvements have been made to the traditional combined compressed air dryer:
1) Stainless steel heat exchangers are used in the refrigeration section to prevent copper from entering the compressed air and affecting the product quality of the liquid crystal display.
2) An electric heater is added to the device to optimize the regeneration capacity of the adsorption dryer, allowing for 100% deep regeneration of the adsorbent to ensure stable low dew points.
3) The refrigeration dryer is still used in a pre-stage method to reduce the regeneration air consumption and reduce the dew point fluctuation caused by excessive regeneration air consumption.
4) Special adsorbents are used to ensure a service life of 4-6 years at low dew points.
