Abstract
The model, number, and air supply system with different air qualities and pressures of the air compressor should be determined based on the air supply requirements, compressed air load, and technical and economic comparison.
In the compressed air station, the number of piston air compressors or screw air compressors should be 3 to 6 units. For the same quality and pressure air supply system, the number of air compressor models should not exceed two. The number of centrifugal air compressors should be 2 to 5 units, and the same model should be used.
The determination of the standby capacity of the compressed air station shall meet the following requirements:
1. When the maximum unit is under maintenance, except for the air supply reduction that can be allowed through scheduling measures, the remaining units shall ensure the air demand for the entire plant (mine) production;
2. When the required air volume for production cannot be guaranteed even after adjustment, standby units can be added;
3. For distributed compressed air stations with interconnected networks, the standby capacity should be uniformly set.
The air intake system of the air compressor shall be equipped with an air filter or air filtration device. An air filter or air filtration device should be installed at the air intake of the air-cooled system of the centrifugal air compressor drive motor.
The air intake of the air compressor intake system should be installed outdoors and have rainproof measures. In areas with hot summers and warm winters, the air intake of screw air compressors and piston air compressors with a discharge volume less than or equal to 10m3/min can be installed indoors.
The air cooling exhaust of air-cooled screw air compressor units and centrifugal air compressor units should be discharged outdoors.
An aftercooler should be installed between the exhaust port of the piston air compressor and the air storage tank. Each air compressor should not share an aftercooler and air storage tank. The configuration of the centrifugal air compressor aftercooler and air storage tank should be determined according to the user's needs.
The selection of the air dryer should be determined based on the air supply system and the user's requirements for air dryness and the amount of air to be dried, after technical and economic comparison.
When the user requires that the dried compressed air cannot be interrupted, at least two sets of air dryers should be selected, one of which is a standby.
When compressed air needs to be dried, its oil content should meet the requirements of the drying device before entering the drying device.
According to the user's requirements for the quality grade of compressed air, compressed air filters with corresponding accuracy should be installed before and after the air drying device and at the air-consuming equipment. Except for users who require uninterrupted air supply, standby compressed air filters may not be required.
In compressed air stations equipped with piston air compressors, the air drying device should be installed after the air storage tank. The compressed air temperature entering the adsorption type air dryer should not exceed 40℃. The compressed air temperature entering the refrigeration type air dryer should be determined according to the requirements of the device.
A check valve should be installed between the piston air compressor and the air storage tank. A vent pipe should be installed between the compressor and the check valve. The vent pipe should be equipped with a silencer.
A shut-off valve should not be installed between the piston air compressor and the air storage tank. When it needs to be installed, a safety vent must be installed between the compressor and the shut-off valve.
A check valve and a shut-off valve should be installed on the exhaust pipe of the centrifugal air compressor. A vent pipe must be installed between the compressor and the check valve. An anti-surge regulating valve and a silencer should be installed on the vent pipe.
A device for adjusting the air intake volume should be installed between the centrifugal air compressor and the intake filter device.
The centrifugal air compressor should be equipped with a high-level oil tank and other facilities that can ensure reliable oil supply.
A lubricating oil supply device should be correspondingly set for the centrifugal air compressor, and a check valve should be installed on the outlet oil supply main pipe.
A safety valve must be installed on the air storage tank. The selection of the safety vent should comply with the relevant provisions of the current national "Pressure Vessel Safety Technical Supervision Regulations". A shut-off valve should be installed between the air storage tank and the air supply main pipe.
An analysis sampling valve should be installed at the outlet of the air dryer and filter.
The layout of the air intake, exhaust, and vent pipes of the air compressor should reduce the impact of pipe vibration on the building. The valves installed on the pipes should be convenient for operation and maintenance. The pipes between the piston air compressor and the aftercooler should be easy to disassemble for removing carbon deposits. The exhaust pipe should have thermal compensation. In cold regions, antifreeze measures should be taken for the oil and water pipes on the outdoor ground.
A soundproof duty room should be set up in the compressed air station. Sound insulation, noise reduction, and sound absorption measures should be taken on the air compressor unit, pipelines, and buildings to reduce noise.
The noise control value of the compressed air station should comply with the provisions of the current national standards such as "Design Code for Noise Control of Industrial Enterprises" (GBJ87) and "Urban Area Environmental Noise Standard" (GB3096).
The compressed air station should be equipped with a waste oil collection device. The discharge of wastewater should comply with the provisions of the current national standards and regulations.
