Electrical, thermal, and measuring instruments and protective devices for compressed air stations
The power load level of the compressed air station should be implemented according to the importance of compressed air user's air consumption, in accordance with the current national "Design Code for Power Supply and Distribution Systems" (GB50052) load classification regulations. Except for those where interruption of compressed air would cause significant losses, it should be a Class 3 load.
The control and protection of the air compressor motor should be implemented in accordance with the relevant requirements of the current national "Design Code for Power Distribution of General Electrical Equipment" (GB50055).
The voltage of hand-held lamps used in the compressed air station should not exceed 36V; the voltage of hand-held lamps used inside the air storage tank or on the metal platform of the air compressor should not exceed 12V.
A dedicated repair power supply of 380V and 220V should be provided in the machine room of the compressed air station.
A centralized control room should be set up in the compressed air station, and the centralized control room should meet the following requirements:
1. It should be located at the fixed end or in a suitable position of the compressed air station;
2. The indoor equipment layout should be neat, coordinated, and uniform. The pre-panel operation area should meet the work needs of the operating personnel, and the post-panel area should meet the requirements for equipment maintenance, repair, debugging, and passage;
3. There should be good ventilation and lighting, and measures should be taken for sound insulation, fire prevention, dust prevention, waterproofing, and vibration damping.
The soundproof duty room or centralized control room of the compressed air station should be equipped with a telephone.
The thermal measurement instruments of the compressed air station should be installed according to the provisions of Appendix A, Appendix B, and Appendix C. When a centralized control room is provided, the measurement instruments that should be installed in the appendices should be connected to the centralized control room.
The thermal alarm signals and automatic protection control of the compressed air station should be installed according to the provisions of Appendix D, Appendix E, and Appendix F. When a centralized control room is provided, the thermal alarm signals that should be installed in the appendices should be connected to the centralized control room.
Emergency stop buttons for the air compressor should be installed both in the control room and next to the machine. For compressed air stations without backup air compressors, interlocking with automatic switching of backups can be set according to process requirements.
The following control systems should be provided for centrifugal air compressors:
1. Inlet air regulating control system;
2. Unit surge prevention control system;
3. Exhaust pressure constant pressure control system.
The compressed air station can adopt a computer control system.
When the air compressor uses a computer control system, redundant power supply units should be configured. If the compressed air station has strict requirements for the dryness of the air supply, a dew point meter should be provided.
Outdoor thermal measurement instruments, control equipment, and measuring pipelines should be provided with waterproof and antifreeze measures.
