A muffler is a device that prevents the propagation of sound while allowing airflow to pass through. It is an important measure to eliminate aerodynamic noise. The muffler is a noise reduction device installed in the exhaust system of the airflow channel of the adsorption dryer.
Characteristics of XY series mufflers: Based on the digestion and absorption of products from Allied Witan Company of the United States, a novel exhaust muffler has been produced. The main material is mainly ultra-fine sound-absorbing glass wool with good sound absorption frequency performance and high temperature resistance, as well as specially treated sound-absorbing filter materials from the United States and other materials. The muffler can reduce noise by more than 30 decibels, achieving the same effect as imported products. It is also equipped with a bypass safety valve with an opening pressure of 2.0~2.2kgf/m2. When the bypass safety valve is opened, the sound-absorbing filter material must be replaced before it can be used again. This series of products is suitable for adsorption dryers with a working pressure of 1.0 MPa.
When evaluating the quality of a muffler, the following three aspects should be considered:
1. Noise reduction performance of the muffler; (noise reduction and frequency spectrum characteristics)
2. Aerodynamic performance of the muffler; (pressure loss, etc.)
3. Structural performance of the muffler.
